KLSMC in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Hand Therapist to deliver rehabilitation for inpatients and outpatients. You will assess patients, plan and implement treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore function, alleviate pain and prevent dysfunction.

Fresh graduates with OT degree/BSc are welcomed; diploma holders with 10 years' experience may also apply. You should have strong assessment and communication skills and a solid musculoskeletal background, with weekend work when scheduled.

• Fresh graduates with OT degree/BSc or diploma with 10 years experience.
• Excellent assessment and communication skills.
• Sound musculoskeletal background incl. splinting, manual therapy & exercise prescription.
• Able to work on weekends/public holidays when scheduled.

The Junior Hand Therapist will be responsible for the effective delivery of rehabilitation practices to inpatients and outpatients. The Junior Hand Therapist will assess patients, plan and carry out treatment programs to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.

Requirements:

• Fresh Graduates with a Degree/BSc. in Occupational Therapy or Diploma Holders with 10 year of relevant working experience.
• Able to interact with patients, employees and third parties.
• Have excellent assessment and communication skills
• Have a sound musculoskeletal background (splinting, manual therapy & exercise prescription)
• Able to work on weekends as well as public holidays when scheduled
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Applicant must be a Malaysian Citizen

License/Certification:

• APC or applying for one (Required)
