Job summary

Green Cotton Sdn Bhd is seeking a design-oriented intern to support marketing and product teams. You will help create visuals for social media, websites, emails, and print ads, translating briefs into compelling visuals.

You will collaborate across teams, develop concepts, maintain brand consistency, and stay updated on trends. A strong portfolio and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite are essential while UI/UX knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, aesthetic sense, and technical skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.
• Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Ability to translate marketing objectives into compelling visual concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and incorporate feedback.
• Proactive and eager to learn, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
• Familiarity with current design trends and digital media is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for various marketing materials, including social media graphics, website banners, email newsletters, and print advertisements.
• Develop creative concepts and visual assets that align with Green Cotton Sdn Bhd's brand identity and marketing objectives, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
• Assist in the creation of product mockups, presentation materials, and other visual aids to support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Translate marketing briefs and requirements into compelling visual designs that resonate with the target audience.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance the quality and effectiveness of design outputs.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to improve overall marketing campaign aesthetics and user engagement.
• Manage and organize design assets, ensuring proper file naming conventions and version control for easy retrieval and future use.
