Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, DE, IS, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in data engineering, warehousing, or big data.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Proficient in SQL and Python/Java/Scala.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, maintainable data systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
• BI tools experience: Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
• Nice to have streaming platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines across on-prem and cloud.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data mapping aligns with reporting needs.
• Maintain data lake and data warehouse solutions.
• Create and maintain data mapping documents.
• Ingest data from multiple sources into centralized data repository or data lake.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality.
• Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for data workflows across cloud/on-prem environments.
