Job summary

YTL Cement Group is seeking a Communications Executive to support internal and external communications across multiple platforms. You will contribute to content creation, events, and marketing campaigns while gaining hands-on experience in corporate communications.

Ideal candidates are graduates with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia writing skills, and a willingness to learn across stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; internship or volunteer experience in marketing, communications or media is a added advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word); Canva familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external events, including logistics, vendor coordination and on-ground support.
• Support the preparation and distribution of communication materials such as announcements, newsletters, presentations and posters.
• Assist in creating simple visuals and graphics for social media and internal platforms.
• Draft and edit basic copy for social media posts, website content, internal news and emailers.
• Help update and maintain the company's internal and external communication channels (e.g. intranet, website, social platforms).
• Conduct background research and prepare materials for meetings and presentations.
• Assist in maintaining content calendars, media lists, and campaign tracking files.
• Provide general support to the Brand & Communications team in ad hoc projects and daily operations.
