Job summary

McNeal Manufacturing Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a production operator to run CNC milling machines and support equipment according to work instructions and safety procedures.

You will load materials, monitor cycles, and record outputs, scrap and downtime in ERP/MES systems. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork and willingness to learn, with opportunities to advance toward CNC setup or programming roles.

Qualifications

• No prior CNC or manufacturing experience required; willingness to learn and follow instructions is essential.
• Basic reading and numeracy; ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attendance, punctuality and attention to detail; able to work as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC milling machines and related equipment per instructions and safety procedures.
• Load raw material safely and unload machined parts, handling items to prevent damage or contamination.
• Record production quantities, scrap, downtime and inspection results in logs or ERP/MES systems as directed.
• Perform basic inspections using calipers, gauges and simple tools after training.
• Assist with deburring, cleaning, sorting, labeling and packaging of components as required.
• Participate in routine maintenance, housekeeping and machine-care tasks when trained.
• Communicate with supervisors and Quality personnel to follow production priorities and update status.
