Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineer to design infrastructure works including sewerage, water supply, roads and drainage, and to prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.

You will ensure designs comply with Malaysian standards, liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities, coordinate with internal draft teams, review drawings, attend meetings and site visits, and prepare authority submission documents.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or 3 years of experience.
• Background Degree in Civil Engineering or related.

Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure works including sewerage, water supply, road, and drainage systems.
• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant Malaysian standards, guidelines, and authority requirements (JKR, JPS, IWK, Air Selangor, etc).
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities for project submissions and approvals.
• Coordinate with internal design and drafting teams to ensure accurate project deliverables.
• Review and check engineering drawings before submission.
• Attend technical meetings and site visits when required.
• Prepare authority submission documents and respond to technical comments.
