Job summary

LAU & ASSOCIATES is hiring an entry-level Junior Accounts Assistant in Malaysia. No prior experience required as on-the-job training is provided by senior accountants, with clear promotional prospects and on-site guidance to verify working hours.

The role supports SME clients with daily invoicing, reconciliations, and tax prep under the supervision of qualified accountants. Comprehensive software training and a five-day work week are included.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting path.
• Entry-level / No experience required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Paid study leave provided to support professional examination prep.

Responsibilities

• Input and categorize daily invoices, receipts, and expenses for SME clients.
• Complete regular bank, supplier, and ledger reconciliations.
• Process vendor bills, generate client invoices, and monitor outstanding payments.
• Reach out to clients to gather missing source documents and bank statements.
• Assist seniors with monthly closing schedules and basic tax preparation.
