Job summary

Athenor Advisory Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to manage daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, prepare invoices and vouchers, and maintain accurate records. You will support monthly financial reporting and assist with ad-hoc duties as needed.

Fresh graduates are welcome; Mandarin proficiency is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. The role requires basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in Excel, with experience in AutoCount or SQL

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic accounting knowledge is required.
• Experience using accounting software such as AutoCount, SQL, or other accounting systems is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants who are able to communicate in Mandarin are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Handle bank reconciliations and document filing.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.
