Job summary

Mommyhana Creative is seeking a Safety & Health Officer in Shah Alam, Malaysia to manage occupational safety and health matters, perform risk assessments, and coordinate incident reporting. The role also involves training, DOSH registrations, and supporting HR duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Safety & Health, have at least 2 years of safety experience, and be flexible to work beyond normal hours when necessary. Driving license is required for travel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant certification in Safety and Health.
• Familiar with HIRARC, Fire safety, and Basic First Aid.
• Knowledge of relevant Acts and compliance.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours when required.

Responsibilities

• To handle all matters in regards to occupational safety & health.
• To conduct risk assessment and hazard control.
• To handle all incident and emergency reporting including proper reporting and submission.
• To conduct relevant training & awareness.
• To assist on premises registration to DOSH including insurance requirement.
• To provide backup support for other HR duties when required.
• To perform any other ad hoc/additional responsibility as assigned by the Management from time to time in its sole and absolute discretion deem fit.

Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma or relevant certification in Safety and Health, or related field.
• Possess valid driving license class for travelling

• Understanding on relevant Act, HIRARC, Emergency Response Planning, Fire Safety, Basic First Aid and Microsoft office
• Be flexible to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, or public holidays when necessary
