POSITION SUMMARY: The Safety Manager oversees the entire Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) implementation for the floating solar project, including launching decks, on-water operations, lifting activities, electrical works, and marine safety.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Obtained at least Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering or Industrial Safety.
• SHO Green Book (mandatory).
• NIOSH certification preferred.
• CIDB Green Card mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years in construction HSE and in solar projects, marine works, high-risk industrial construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• HSE Management
  • Develop and enforce site HSE Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with DOSH, CIDB and DOE regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections.
  • Manage emergency response procedures.
• Marine & Water Safety
  • Enforce life jacket compliance.
  • Monitor water-related risks.
  • Coordinate rescue preparedness.
  • Ensure lightning safety protocols are followed.
• Investigate all incidents and near misses.
• Prepare incident reports.
• Implement corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE records and statistics.
• Conduct safety induction programs.
• Ensure toolbox talks are conducted daily.
• Train personnel on emergency evacuation procedures
