Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Malaysia is seeking a software developer to design, build and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring, JAX-RS and cloud technologies.

You'll work with SVN/GIT, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines on J2EE stacks, contributing to scalable solutions across APAC. The role emphasizes quality code, collaboration and delivering robust backend services for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Experience developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Experience with SVN or GIT and build tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle.
• Hands-on with Maven build scripts and moving to GitHub.
• Experience developing and deploying microservices on cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate and JPA.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON.
• Manage source code with SVN or GIT and build tools (Ant, Maven, Gradle).
• Maintain Maven build scripts and migrate to GitHub.
• Develop and deploy microservices on cloud infrastructure.
• Work with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, Hibernate and JPA.

Expectations from the Role

• Developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

• Experience using and developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON
