Job summary

Fuku in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a mid-level to senior Java developer to design and implement responsive websites from front to back. You will work closely with the Team Leader, Tech Lead, and UX designers to evolve software design, coding standards, and system performance for scalable solutions.

The role expects 3–5 years of experience with Java 8+, and offers a hybrid/office-based setup in Penang's Airport area with 4 days in the office. ISO-compliant documentation is part of the remit.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java 8+ and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot and backend architecture a plus.
• Secure coding practices and knowledge of common security standards (OWASP, PCI).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive websites from front to back.
• Collaborate with Team Leader, Tech Lead, and UX designers to evolve systems for performance and scalability.
• Provide user support, bug fixes, and minor enhancements for business users.
• Prepare technical design docs, release notes, and user guides in line with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive websites from front to back.
