Job summary

techstreet is seeking an experienced Java Developer for a 1-year renewable contract in Malaysia. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, and build RESTful APIs with JSON data exchanges.

The role requires hands-on experience with MongoDB, Oracle Database, and MS SQL Server, plus strong English communication and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java application development.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in Java and Spring Boot (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of Spring Framework and Java EE.
• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Oracle Database, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good understanding of JSON, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
