Job summary

Hytech in Malaysia is seeking a Java Developer with 2+ years of professional Java experience to join our team. You will develop, test, and maintain Java applications, collaborating with senior developers to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem (JDK, Maven/Gradle).
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate or similar.
• Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
• Version control experience (Git).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs; microservices a plus.
• Knowledge of Kafka and Redis a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Job Requirements

• Practical experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, or similar.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka) and caching solutions (e.g., Redis) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
