Job summary

SK intellix Malaysia is seeking a Java-focused software engineer to develop and maintain high-quality applications. You will test, debug, and optimize code, while delivering thorough technical documentation and collaborating with QA, Product, and DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in software development with a focus on Java.
• Proficiency in SQL, Java Script, Linux, and Git version control systems.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and testing practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Code: Write, test, and debug clean, efficient, and reusable Java code following design specs and coding standards.
• Software Testing: Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure performance and reliability.
• Application Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing apps, including bug fixes and updates.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain system design, user manuals, and technical specs.
• Version Control: Use Git for source control, branching, merging, and versioning in teams.
• Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot issues and deliver timely solutions to minimize user disruption.
• Code Review: Perform code reviews to ensure quality and alignment with project requirements.
• Collaborative Development: Work with QA, Product, and DevOps to deliver high-impact solutions.
