Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Java Developer to own backend code, ensure stable game platform operations, and develop APIs. You will work on a live gaming platform with a focus on quality and ownership, in a fast-growing gaming tech company across Southeast Asia.

Requirements include 2+ years of Java development, solid Java foundations with Spring, Netty networking, and a familiarity with Redis, MySQL, Kafka. Chinese language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong Java foundation: Java, Spring (Boot/Cloud), Mybatis.
• Familiar with Redis, MySQL, Kafka.
• Experience with GitLab, Maven, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Write Java backend code and complete development tasks independently.
• Maintain the company system daily and provide technical support for routine issues.
• Write technical interface documentation and develop related API interfaces.
• Participate in system architecture design and ensure stable business operation.
• Break down requirements, keep track of key milestones, and drive projects to completion.
