Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Java Developer / Backend Engineer to join our team in Malaysia. The role involves building and maintaining Java applications, collaborating with Business Analysts to interpret requirements, and delivering both frontend and backend solutions.

You will design and implement REST APIs, integrate systems, and work on performance, security, and quality improvements while producing technical documentation for deployment support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java / Full Stack Development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API, and JPA.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, AKS/Kubernetes, and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Maven, JUnit, and Git/SVN.
• Experience with Oracle or DB2.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
