Job summary

VAT Group in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to handle monthly Japan payroll processing. You will validate inputs, ensure compliance with Japanese laws, and provide bilingual support in Japanese and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience 2–5 years in payroll administration.
• Experience with Japanese payroll is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end payroll activities for Japan payroll on a monthly basis.
• Prepare, validate, and process payroll inputs including hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
• Review payroll data for accuracy, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure timely payroll delivery.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as the first point of contact for payroll inquiries from Japanese employees.
