Job summary

NXP Semiconductors Malaysia is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide first-line support for ATIT users, ensuring SLA-compliant incident resolution and monitoring of critical systems. You will work with global teams across ATIT sites, support MES and tester workstations, and participate in 24x7 shifts.

Ideal candidates hold a IT-related degree, know Windows and Linux well, and have a customer-service mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Fresh graduates or <2 years experience encouraged.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience or exposure to IT support in manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of MES, automation platforms, engineering applications, or tester systems an advantage.
• Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with global teams across ATIT sites.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
• Willing to work on rotational 24x7 shift schedules.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Linux) advantageous.

Deliver remote support across multiple sites and countries while maintaining effective communication with users. Contribute to knowledge management through documentation, knowledge articles, and best practice sharing. Participate in 24x7 shift operations to ensure continuous IT service support.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates or less than 2 years experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience or exposure to IT support in a manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial environment is preferred.
