Job summary

NXP Semiconductors Malaysia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support semiconductor equipment, focusing on downtime reduction and reliability qualification. You will work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve handlers and testers on the production floor.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced NPI environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance and reliability support.
• Strong knowledge of handlers and testers; advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work in an NPI environment.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of handlers, testers, and related semiconductor equipment; ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Soft Skills: Good communication, problem-solving, and ability to work in a NPI environment.
