Job summary

AVID SPORTS MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Specialist (Fresh Graduates Welcomed) to support office staff and retail stores.

You will help resolve daily IT issues, set up computers, networks, POS systems, and other equipment, and participate in IT projects with regional teams to drive improvements. Ideal candidates hold a diploma or degree in IT/CS, have basic IT knowledge, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and are fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, networking, or troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin-speaking is an additional advantage.
• Must have own transportation and willing to travel to retail stores as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to office staff and retail stores, resolving daily technical issues.
• Assist with setting up and maintaining computers, software, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic issues involving POS systems, internet connections, and computer hardware.
• Support company systems such as ERP, CRM, SAP, VPN, and other business applications.
• Get hands-on experience in setting up IT systems for new store openings (POS, CCTV, internet, etc.).
• Work with store teams to ensure IT systems run smoothly and business operations are not disrupted.
• Participate in IT projects, system implementation, and technology testing.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams to resolve system-related issues and support improvements.
• Assist with IT documentation, user account setup, and system maintenance.
• Support basic IT and POS training for office staff and retail teams.
• Work with different departments to understand IT needs and provide practical solutions.

What You'll Do

IT Support & Troubleshooting

Provide IT support to office staff and retail stores, helping resolve daily technical issues.

Assist with setting up and maintaining computers, software, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.

Troubleshoot basic issues involving POS systems, internet connections, and computer hardware.

Support company systems such as ERP, CRM, SAP, VPN, and other business applications.

Retail Technology & Store Setup

Get hands-on experience in setting up IT systems for new store openings, including POS, internet, CCTV, and other IT equipment.

Work with store teams to ensure IT systems run smoothly and business operations are not disrupted.

Projects & System Development

Participate in IT projects, system implementation, and technology testing.

Collaborate with regional IT teams to resolve system-related issues and support ongoing improvements.

Assist with IT documentation, user account setup, and system maintenance.

Support basic IT and POS training for office staff and retail teams.

Work with different departments to understand their IT needs and provide practical solutions.

Continuously learn about new technologies, systems, and IT best practices.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
