Job summary

A global technology firm in Malaysia is seeking an IT Process Control Specialist to manage and troubleshoot IT Process Control Systems across production sites in Asia and Europe. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Advanced Process Control, Linux, and Server Administration, along with a proactive attitude and critical problem-solving skills. Collaboration with technical teams and vendors will be crucial for ensuring operational continuity. This role requires a detail-oriented approach and adaptability in working environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Advanced Process Control (APC) mandatory (R2R, SPC or FDC).
• Proficiency in Linux and Server Administration required.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle advantageous.

Job description

Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain IT Process Control System (APC R2R) across multiple production sites in Asia and Europe, ensuring 24/7 operational continuity. Ensure smooth manufacturing operations by establishing and maintaining standardized systems across all sites.

Handle changes or emergencies as needed for high priority issues. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.

Consolidate and analyze process & integration requirements to provide appropriate system solutions. Identify, interpret, validate, perform tests, standardize, and document business/system requirements and changes.

Leads & performs implementation projects and ensures proper in-design of capacities. Migrate obsolete solution to future solution.

Provide consultation and training on both new implementations and existing support projects.

Collaborate closely with IT technical teams, business functions, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely communication of requirements and progress.

Job Requirements

Experienced in Advanced Process Control (APC) mandatory (either R2R, SPC or FDC), requirements Engineering, Project Management.

Proficient in Linux, Server Administration & Application Deployment are mandatory.

SQL & Oracle, Data Integration (Nifi, JMS) and Scripting (Python) advantageous.

Must be highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a logical and intuitive approach. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

High adaptability and good working relation with cross-function colleagues & vendors.
