Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
• Proven teaching experience in tertiary education or lecturing in IT.
• Strong knowledge in IT domains: software development, networking, databases, cybersecurity, systems administration or web development.
• Proficiency in programming languages and IT tools used in industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Commitment to student‑centred learning and inclusive teaching.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Professional IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are desirable.
• Industry experience in IT to provide practical insights.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in IT modules.
• Developing and updating course materials to reflect current industry practices.
• Assessing student performance through exams, assignments and projects.
