Job summary

IPENET Solutions Sdn Bhd is offering an IT Internship in Malaysia. You will work with experienced engineers on customer projects and IT deployments, gaining hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking and technical support.

Responsibilities include learning real-world IT implementation, assisting with setup, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and network tasks. This internship emphasizes fieldwork, documentation, and exposure to enterprise networks and ELV solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network & Security, Information Systems, Telecommunications or related fields.
• Basic understanding of Computer hardware and software, Windows operating systems, Networking concepts (LAN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP), Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Accompany senior engineers to customer sites and learn real-world IT implementation and support activities.
• Assist in computer setup, configuration, installation and deployment.
• Support computer troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities.
• Learn and assist in networking tasks such as network setup, connectivity troubleshooting, switches, routers and Wi‑Fi configurations.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, including network diagrams and system documentation.
• Gain exposure to Enterprise Network, System Infrastructure and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) solutions.
• Support the Network & System team in project implementation and maintenance activities.
• Assist with asset management, equipment preparation and inventory tracking.
• Provide day-to-day technical support assistance.
• Adhere to company policies and safety requirements during fieldwork.

During your industrial training attachment, you will gain hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, networking and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Internship period : 3 to 6 months
