Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level technical support for internal staff.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with servers, PCs, and OS (Windows/Linux).
• Set up and maintain IT peripherals and manage user accounts.
• Develop, test, and maintain internal web apps using PHP.
• Assist with AI research and automation initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, versatile, and proactive IT Intern to join our IT Department. The intern will gain hands-on experience in IT support, system administration, networking, cybersecurity, software and database management, and AI-related initiatives while working on real business projects.

Internship Requirements

• Final-semester undergraduate student pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Information Systems
• Artificial Intelligence / Data Science
• Or any related field
• Available for a 6-month internship.
• CGPA of 3.00 and above is an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn AI, new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently when required.
• AI Requirement (Highly Preferred)

Candidates should either:

Have an academic background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field,

OR

Demonstrate a strong interest in AI and is willing to learn and work on AI-related projects during the internship.

Experience with any of the following is an advantage:

• Python
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini
• Machine Learning fundamentals
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Basic API integration

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st level technical support for internal employees.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving servers, PCs, laptops, and operating systems, including Windows/Linux.
• Set up, configure, and maintain IT peripherals, including: Printers, Scanners, Monitors, Projectors, CCTV
• Manage user accounts and software installations.
• Assist with laptop and desktop setup, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain hardware and IT asset inventory.Software & Database Management
• Develop, test, and maintain internal web applications and systems using PHP.
• Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Assist with the deployment of software updates and bug fixes.

System & Network Maintenance

• Assist in maintaining the company's local network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues involving:
• LAN/WAN
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• DHCP
• Wi-Fi
• Assist with system monitoring and maintenance.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Assist with basic Active Directory tasks.
• Respond promptly to system outages or critical IT emergencies.
• Provide reliable after-office-hours support on an on-call basis to ensure minimal downtime for critical business operations.
• Maintain flexibility to be on standby beyond regular office hours, including weekends and public holidays, to address urgent IT issues and system outages.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Assist with basic cybersecurity-related activities.
• Ensure IT operations, policies, and record-keeping comply with relevant ISO certification standards
• Assist in preparing for and participating in internal and external ISO audits to maintain company certifications.

Documentation

• Create, update, and manage IT documentation, including:
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• System configurations
• Network diagrams
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and records.
• Participate in AI research and implementation projects.
• Assist with process automation using AI tools.
• Explore and work with AI-related technologies and initiatives during the internship.
