Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a proactive Computer Science intern to explore AI solutions that automate project management workflows and reporting. You will study current processes, identify repetitive tasks, prototype AI tools, and present findings with limited supervision.

This internship provides hands-on experience in AI, data handling, and documentation, helping you build real dashboards and prototypes for management review.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in CS/Software/AI/Data Science/IT or related field.
• Basic understanding of AI, LLMs, APIs, databases, or workflow automation.
• Able to research and learn unfamiliar technologies independently.
• Able to develop simple scripts or automation workflows.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Study existing project management workflows, reports, tools, and data sources.
• Identify manual activities suitable for AI automation.
• Research AI tools and automation methods for PM use cases.
• Develop PoCs for automated updates and reporting.
• Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
• Present findings and prototypes to the Project Management team.

We are looking for a proactive and independent Computer Science Intern to explore and develop AI solutions that automate project management workflows and reporting.

The intern will study current project management processes, identify repetitive manual tasks, evaluate suitable AI tools, and build practical prototypes with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Study existing project management workflows, reports, tools, and data sources.

Identify manual and repetitive activities that can be automated using AI.

Research suitable AI tools, platforms, and automation methods.

Develop proof-of-concept solutions for:

Collecting project updates.

Generating weekly and monthly reports.

Summarizing meeting minutes and action items.

Tracking overdue tasks and follow‑up actions.

Identifying project delays, risks, and missing information.

Preparing management summaries and dashboards.

Integrate AI solutions with spreadsheets, documents, emails, calendars, or project management tools where applicable.

Test the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated outputs.

Gather feedback from project managers and improve the solutions.

Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and final recommendations.

Present findings and prototypes to the Project Management team.

Review of current project management workflows.

List of recommended AI automation opportunities.

Comparison of suitable AI tools and platforms.

At least one working AI automation prototype.

Prototype for automated project update collection and reporting.

User and technical documentation.

Final presentation and implementation recommendations.

Candidate Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and any related technical field.

Basic understanding of AI, large language models, APIs, databases, or workflow automation.

Able to independently research and learn unfamiliar technologies.

Able to develop simple scripts, applications, or automation workflows.

Good analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Able to work with limited supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Preferred Skills

Experience with generative AI, chatbots, workflow automation, or data analytics.

Experience with Excel, project reports, meeting minutes, or project management tools.

Familiarity with Git or other version‑control tools.
