Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a software professional with 1–3 years of experience to design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using the Laravel framework. The role includes ERP module customization and AI integration within a cloud-focused environment.

Qualifications

Web Development:

Design, develop, and deploy responsive, full-stack web applications and internal tools, primarily utilizing the Laravel framework.

ERP & Systems Integration:

Assist in the customization, rollout, and maintenance of enterprise modules, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), E-Invoicing, and core transactional databases.

AI Framework Deployment:

Build and integrate AI-driven solutions and automated workflows leveraging the Google AI ecosystem (specifically Vertex AI and Gemini APIs).

Cloud & Database Management:

Manage and optimize schemas with a strong focus on PostgreSQL, while handling deployment, architecture, and seamless integration with cloud computing systems.

System Maintenance:

Collaborate with the IT department to troubleshoot technical issues, manage local script rollouts, and ensure system uptime during critical operational windows.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a relevant field. Candidates with a Master's degree or higher educational background are highly welcome.

1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in software development, spanning web development, ERP systems, and AI integrations.

Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework for building scalable web applications.

Demonstrated experience in deployment and integration with cloud systems (e.g., Google Cloud, Vercel).

Hands-on experience with Google AI ecosystem development, particularly Vertex AI or similar document-parsing and automation frameworks.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system optimization.

Advantageous Skills

Database Expertise: Advanced skills in PostgreSQL for database management and optimization will be considered a strong advantage.

Process Automation: Experience dealing with automated daily routines, scheduled data processing, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial baking, food manufacturing, or supply chain logic.
