Job summary

CHIPBOND TECHNOLOGY MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking an IT Engineer (Network) to maintain and optimize the company’s LAN/WAN and wireless infrastructure in Penang.

You will monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and manage routers, switches, and security devices to ensure reliable operation for our ERP environment (SAP S/4 Hana) with strong Mandarin and English communication. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in software or computer engineering and familiarity with network protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Engineering or related field.
• ERP (SAP) S/4 Hana development experience is a plus.
• Familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Knowledgeable about network security technologies and designs.
• Familiar with network management and performance analysis tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's internal network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi).
• Monitor and analyze network performance; resolve bottlenecks to ensure stability.
• Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Conduct regular network performance tests to meet business needs.
