IT Engineer (SAP Business One & Infrastructure)
We are seeking a hands-on IT Engineer to support both SAP Business One (SAP B1) and IT infrastructure operations in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth production, finance closing, and overall system reliability.
About the Role
As an IT Engineer, you will be responsible for SAP support, system enhancements, network/server maintenance, and end‑user support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Business One (SAP B1) Support
- Provide daily SAP B1 application support for production and finance users
- Develop and maintain SAP reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements
- Support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities
- Troubleshoot SAP‑related issues and coordinate fixes with vendors when required
- Conduct user training and coaching when necessary
- Support data migration and system improvements during projects
IT Infrastructure & Systems
- Manage and maintain servers, network devices, and business applications
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and virtualization platforms
- Monitor system and network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Implement and maintain IT security measures (firewall, antivirus, access control, backups)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and data security
- Ensure proper backup and disaster recovery processes
General IT Support
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware and software issues
- Document IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements to IT systems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and system support
- 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1)
- Good understanding of SAP B1 modules: Sales, Production, Inventory, Purchasing
- Experience with Crystal Reports or SAP B1 add‑ons is an advantage
- Knowledge of data migration tools and processes
- Strong skills in network administration (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
- Experience with server management, virtualization, and cloud platforms
- Familiar with Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and MS Office
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Able to work independently and with cross‑functional teams
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment is a strong plus
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage
