Job summary

VAT Group AG is seeking an IT Business Consultant for Purchasing and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will lead cross-functional projects spanning procurement, vendor collaboration, planning and supply chain, driving process improvements and system adoption.

The role requires strong leadership, English proficiency and a track record in international projects. The successful candidate will configure D365 modules, manage full project lifecycles, and deliver BI reports from D365 data,

Qualifications

• 5-8 years total experience as IT Business Consultant in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2-3 years as Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Functional Consultant.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering or consulting.
• Experience planning and coordinating projects.
• Experience in concept design and process modelling.
• Minimum 3 years managing international projects.
• Knowledge of Procurement, Planning and Supply Chain processes.

Responsibilities

• Own project deliverables for Procurement and Sourcing and MS Dynamics 365 modules.
• Lead IT projects including testing and release activities.
• Act as main consultant and project manager for assigned areas.
• Manage full project lifecycle from concept to handover.
• Identify business needs and develop solution concepts.
• Design and configure functional solutions in Dynamics 365.
• Prepare solution documentation and deliver user training.
• Create Power BI reports by querying Dynamics 365 data.

Act as the primary IT Business Consultant for Purchasing, leading Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions and related initiatives across Procurement and Sourcing, Vendor Collaboration, Planning and Supply Chain processes. Drive process improvement, system adoption, project execution and stakeholder satisfaction through effective cross-functional collaboration.

MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES

• Own project deliverables for Procurement and Sourcing, Vendor Collaboration and associated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules. (Vendor Master Data, Procurement Categories, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Order Management, Request for Quotations (RFQ), Purchase Agreements, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Collaboration, Vendor Evaluation, Approval Workflows, Demand Forecast Integration, Master Planning Integration, Intercompany Purchasing, Direct Delivery, Product Receipt Processing, Three-Way Matching, Vendor Invoice Management, Procurement Policies & Compliance, Spend Analysis, Supplier Performance Management and Procure-to-Pay Processes.)
• Lead related IT projects and activities, including testing and release activities.
• Act as the main responsible consultant and project manager for the assigned functional areas.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and business-needs identification through solution design, configuration, development requirements, implementation, documentation, training and handover.
• Identify business needs and develop solution concepts.
• Design and configure functional solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Define and communicate requirements to the development team.
• Prepare solution documentation and deliver user training.
• Create Microsoft Power BI reports for end users by retrieving and analysing data from Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve operational performance, reduce cost and increase quality and process efficiency.
• Perform other duties assigned by the responsible manager.

KEY EXPERIENCES

• At least 5-8 years of total working experience as IT Business Consultant/IT Consultant in manufacturing industry.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Functional Consultant.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering or consulting.
• Experience planning and coordinating projects.
• Experience in concept design and process modelling.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing international projects.
• Knowledge of Procurement, Planning and Supply Chain processes
