Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a senior leader to head the investor-relations function, presenting the company’s financial performance, strategy, and investment proposition to shareholders, investors and analysts from its Kuala Lumpur base.

You will work with the MD, CEO and CFO to maintain investor confidence, coordinate quarterly results, annual reports, and board papers, and develop engaging investor presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Communications.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or MBA would be an advantage.
• At least 8-12 years' experience in investor relations or related fields.
• Experience in a publicly listed company or asset-management environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, capital markets and corporate disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Lead investor relations communications with shareholders, investors, and analysts.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual financial results with Finance and Corporate Communications.
• Develop and present the company's investment proposition to management and investors.
• Prepare investor presentations and board papers.
• Ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and maintain information controls.
• Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective investors.
• Monitor market sentiment and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Support M&A and capital-raising discussions as needed.
• Mentor and develop the IR team.
