Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Client Operations Officer within the Investment Management Services (FAM) team. You will support daily processing of transactional data, maintain data integrity, and coordinate with IT and business units to ensure timely and accurate trade flows across APAC.

Responsibilities include monitoring feeds, resolving anomalies, and contributing to continuous improvement. The role operates in a high-volume environment with a strong control framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in relevant operational knowledge and experience.
• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes in high-volume, time-sensitive environments preferred.
• Hands-on experience monitoring and validating transactional data flows in financial services.
• Proven ability to investigate, resolve, and elevate data anomalies and operational issues.
• Exposure to trade lifecycle processes, exception management, and data quality controls.
• Experience collaborating with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Business units.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational processing activities within assigned queues to ensure accuracy and timely availability of data.
• Execute defined operational controls, validations, and monitoring checks per procedures.
• Monitor data feeds across client accounts and report exceptions or failures for investigation.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve routine breaks and processing issues; escalate when needed.
• Support incident handling with analysis and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with IT and support teams to report system alerts and issues.
• Update operational trackers and status reports for transparency.
• Act as first-line responder for FAM instruction flow interruptions to minimize impact.
