Job summary

LL Pioneer Sdn Bhd, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an investment professional to gain hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle—from deal sourcing to portfolio management. The role is full-time and on-site in Kuala Lumpur, offering exposure to real estate and sector investments under NexNova/JV structure.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Finance/Accounting/Real Estate or related field with at least 3 years in investment banking, PE, or real estate investment, strong modelling

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in investment banking, private equity, real estate investment, corporate finance, transaction advisory or related field.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of investment concepts, valuation and financial statements.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Commercially minded, curious and capable in a fast-paced environment.
• ACCA, CFA or related qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyse potential real estate investments across sectors including data centres, logistics, residential, education, retail and office.
• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, IRR, equity returns, cash flow and sensitivity analysis.
• Conduct market, industry and property research to assess investment opportunities.
• Support preparation of investment papers, valuation analysis and Investment Committee materials.
• Assist with commercial, financial and operational due diligence.
• Work with internal teams, investors, consultants, lenders and external advisors throughout transactions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare investment updates.
• Identify new investment opportunities and support deal sourcing activities.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur with LL Pioneer Sdn Bhd, a Co-GP JV between LLIM Malaysia Sdn Bhd and NexNova Sdn Bhd a Securities Commission–registered Private Equity Management Company (PEMC).

This is an opportunity for an ambitious investment professional to gain hands‑on exposure to the full investment lifecycle — from deal sourcing and financial analysis to due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio management.

Key responsibilities
