Job summary

GM Corporation Sdn Bhd, located in Shah Alam, seeks a Store Clerk to manage receiving, GRN recording, and stock movement for materials and goods. The role focuses on accurate documentation, 5S compliant storage, and coordination with Purchasing and Production.

The successful candidate will handle loading/unloading, stock checks, and filing while maintaining safety and efficiency in daily warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma in a related field.
• Experience in store/warehouse/inventory is an advantage.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform loading/unloading activities.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and record incoming goods against PO/DO.
• Key in GRN and maintain accurate receiving records.
• Arrange and store materials/goods at the designated location.
• Prepare and issue materials/goods according to approved requests.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods.
• Update stock records and conduct regular stock checking.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortage, excess or discrepancy.
• Maintain proper filing of DO, GRN and other store documents.
• Ensure store cleanliness, proper arrangement and 5S compliance.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production and other departments regarding material requirements.
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior.
