Job summary

SERVAY EVERGREEN SDN BHD (PAPAR) in Sabah, Malaysia is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage incoming goods and ensure delivery accuracy. You will verify deliveries, document receipts, label and store items, and coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, Kitchen/Operations and suppliers on discrepancies.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean receiving area, recording goods in the system, assisting with stock counts, and following health, safety, and inventory control

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, supplies, equipment, and materials from suppliers.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, or other relevant documents.
• Verify the quantity, quality, specifications, expiry dates, and condition of received items.
• Identify and report shortages, damaged goods, incorrect items, or discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure all received goods are properly recorded in the inventory or receiving system.
• Prepare and complete receiving reports, Goods Received Notes (GRN), and other required documentation.
• Label and organize received items appropriately.
• Transfer goods to the correct storage area while following proper storage procedures.
• Ensure perishable items are handled and stored according to required temperature and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, Kitchen/Operations, and suppliers regarding delivery discrepancies.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required.
• Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and inventory control procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
