Job summary

Businesslist in Malaysia is seeking an Inventory Planner (Japanese Speaker) to manage stock levels and coordinate with suppliers while leveraging SAP and analytics. You will collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan procurement, and report on supply chain performance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role requires strong Japanese language skills (N2+), English fluency, and at least 2 years in related planning fields. Hybrid work arrangements are offered.

Qualifications

The Successful Applicant

A successful Inventory Planner (Japanese Speaker) should have:

• Business proficiency in both Japanese (N2 and above) and English for effective communication - speak, read & write
• A strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes within the FMCG industry.
• Min 2 years experience in supply planning, inventory planning, replenish panning, demand planning or related field.
• Good analytical skills to monitor and interpret supply chain data.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in working with inventory management or ERP systems (eg. SAP) is an advantage.
