Job summary

ILLEGEAR SDN BHD is seeking a creative Social Media Marketing Intern to support the marketing team with content creation, platform management, and brand growth in Malaysia.

You will plan content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Xiaohongshu, assist filming short-form videos, edit with CapCut/Canva, and craft captions in English and Chinese. This role offers hands-on learning in campaigns and event promotions.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled in a marketing, media or business-related program.
• Experience using TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms.
• Basic video editing and graphic design using CapCut/Canva.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Xiaohongshu.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and create content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Xiaohongshu.

Assist with filming short-form videos, Reels and TikToks.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure promotions are communicated clearly.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma/Degree student in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, Media or related field.

Active user of TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms.

Creative and comfortable generating new content ideas.

Basic video editing and Canva skills.

Comfortable appearing in videos is a plus, but not compulsory.

Able to communicate in English; Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
