Job summary

DS Plastic Innovations Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Internship to support content planning, social-media management, and product campaigns.

You will collaborate with Graphic Design, Ecommerce and Data teams on campaigns and basic performance analysis. Ideal candidates are pursuing a related degree, with interest in digital marketing, social media, ecommerce, and customer behaviour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing diploma/degree in digital marketing or related field.
• Minimum CGPA 2.80; CGPA 3.00 or above preferred.
• Genuine interest in digital marketing, social media, ecommerce and customer behaviour.
• Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and current social-media formats.
• Basic ability to prepare captions, promotional messages and content ideas.
• Basic MS Excel or Google Sheets knowledge.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing and promotion of selected best-selling, priority and new products.
• Research social-media trends, competitors, customer interests and new content opportunities.

• Coordinate with Graphic Design, Ecommerce and Data teams to support campaigns.
• Review basic content and campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with other related digital marketing, social-media and brand-awareness activities.
• Use approved AI tools, including ChatGPT, responsibly for research, brainstorming and first drafts.

Job description

This is a Digital Marketing & Social Media Internship role at DS Plastic Innovations Sdn. Bhd. About you

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, Media & Communication, Ecommerce, Digital Business, Business Administration (Marketing), Creative Multimedia, Broadcasting, Video Production, Graphic Design or a related discipline.

Minimum CGPA 2.80; CGPA 3.00 or above preferred.

Genuine interest in digital marketing, social media, ecommerce and customer behaviour.

Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and current social-media formats.

Basic ability to prepare captions, promotional messages and content ideas.

Basic Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets knowledge.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

• RM1,500 - RM1,700 monthly allowance.
• Hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media and ecommerce.
