Job summary

VOLVO CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a motivated intern to gain hands-on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for our systems.

You will work with experienced engineers on real projects, developing practical skills in a multinational corporate environment. The role involves diagnosis of issues, routine maintenance, system installation/testing, and creating service reports.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Administrative and documentation skills for service reports.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team. As an intern, you will gain hands‑on experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for our products and systems. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, enhance your technical skills, and contribute to real‑world projects.

Key responsibilities

Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues with equipment and systems.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections under the supervision of Team Lead / Senior Technicians.

Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems and equipment.

Prepare technical documentation and service reports.

About you

Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field

Basic understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, accounting software

Good command of English/Bahasa Malaysia in both spoken and written
