Job summary

Eurofins Scientific in Malaysia offers an IT-focused internship for Diploma or Bachelor’s students to work on laboratory systems and internal IT projects. You’ll support page template development, testing, and deployment, with exposure to OTRS service management and documentation.

Training will cover VBScript, MS SQL and basic Crystal Reports, with mentorship and opportunities to engage with stakeholders during the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Information Technology or Multimedia.
• Internship period: 6 months.
• Must have good IT skills and English language.
• Fast learner and able to work under supervision.
• Willing to learn VBScript and MS SQL basics.

Job Description

• Participate in development project of Laboratory system and other in-house IT Solutions
• Assist Project Leader in creating, testing and deploying new page templates.
• Involve in designing marketing online marketing material (Optional for Multimedia student)
• Handling Service management system (OTRS)
• Provide documentation on tasks and management of the system.
• Training will be provided.
• Take‑away learnings:
• Learn on Business Communication and interaction with stakeholder
• Learn on scripting/coding functions using VB Script, Open source system and MS SQL.
• Basic Crystal Report Training.
• Active engagement from management on Internship final presentations.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must be currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or Multimedia equivalent.
• Internship period: 6 months.
• Required skill(s): Good knowledge in IT skills
• Required language(s): English.
• Additional skill(s): Good communication, writing and problem solving.
• Fast leaner and able to work under minimal supervision.
