Job summary

Wipro Consumer Care (LDW) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day finance activities in General Ledger and Accounts Payable, including processing invoices via Esker.

You will update spreadsheets, assist during month-end close, and perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by the supervisor. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in accounting/finance, strong numerical skills, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalents.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day accounting in General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
• Process invoices via Esker system.
• Update spreadsheets and internal records accurately.
• Support finance team during month-end closing.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Job description

To assist in day-to-day accounting functions in various sectionize. General Ledger, Account Payable (process invoices via Esker System)

To assist to update spreadsheet and internal record accurately

Any ad-hoc task assigned by superior.

Support the finance team during the month end closing activity

Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalents

Responsible and positive working attitude

Multitasking, fast learner, able to work independently and under minimum supervision.

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an advantage

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
