Job summary

INK Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking a graphic design intern to join our marketing team in Malaysia. You will collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop visual assets for campaigns across social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and print materials.

You will translate marketing objectives into compelling visual designs using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, while building a strong portfolio and learning from experienced designers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to translate marketing concepts into visuals.
• Experience with both digital and print design.
• Excellent communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop visual assets for campaigns (social media, banners, email templates, print).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize and develop visual assets for various campaigns, including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and print materials.
• Translate marketing objectives into compelling visual designs that resonate with target audiences and align with brand guidelines.
• Create and edit high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Ensure all design outputs are visually appealing, technically sound, and meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of brand style guides, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance marketing strategies and brand presence.
• Manage and organize design assets, ensuring proper file management and version control.

Requirements

• Proven graphic designing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• Solid understanding of layout design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Ability to translate marketing and advertising concepts into compelling visual designs.
• Experience with both digital and print design, including social media graphics, web banners, brochures, and advertisements.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with current design trends and best practices in the advertising and marketing industry.
• Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
