Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a friendly Studio Operations & Administration associate to join our Kuala Lumpur studio. You will handle customer inquiries, bookings, and payments while maintaining calm and helpful service during painting sessions.

You'll assist with calendar management, stock checks, and light marketing tasks using Canva and spreadsheets, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience for every client on weekends and beyond.

Qualifications

• Friendly and confident interacting with customers
• Organised and responsible with good attention to detail
• Enjoys art and creative activities (Basic painting skills required)
• Comfortable using basic digital tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Canva)
• Good communication in English (Mandarin/Korean/Japanese is an advantage)
• Diploma/Degree in Art is a bonus
• Willing to multitask between admin and studio tasks
• Able to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries (WhatsApp, walk-ins, bookings)
• Manage studio calendar, customer records, and payments
• Assist with admin tasks such as filing, scheduling, and stock checks
• Support sales of art sessions, packages, and merchandise
• Welcome customers and guide them through painting sessions (training provided)
• Assist with art materials, studio setup, and cleanup
• Ensure customers have a fun and comfortable creative experience
• Support simple sales and explain available packages
• Assist with social media content (photos, videos, Canva visuals)
• Capture moments during sessions for marketing purposes
• Support simple promotional activities
