Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering a Finance/Accounts Intern position to support daily financial transactions and ledger entries. The role focuses on maintaining bank reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and tracking project cashflow in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in related diploma/degree programs, has foundational accounting knowledge, and is comfortable working both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a diploma, degree, or equivalent program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any related field.
• Basic understanding in accounting principles and regulations.
• Has a basic knowledge in SQL Accounting Software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced working culture

Responsibilities

• Proficient in recording daily financial transactions and data entry to generate accurate ledgers.
• Maintain the accuracy and consistency of bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Keep track on project progression to monitor cashflow
