The Automotive Technician Intern will support the Service and Workshop Team in carrying out vehicle inspection, maintenance, servicing, and basic repair work under the supervision of qualified technicians. Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
- Assist with vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
- Support oil changes, filter replacement, brake inspection, battery checks, tyre checks, and other basic maintenance activities.
- Assist technicians in diagnosing vehicle problems using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Learn and assist in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
- Follow workshop procedures, repair instructions, and manufacturer service standards.

- Learn and assist in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
- Assist with inspection and maintenance of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Support repair and replacement of vehicle components under proper supervision.
- Assist in preparing vehicles for service, inspection, test drive, and customer delivery.
- Follow workshop procedures, repair instructions, and manufacturer service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the workshop, tools, and work areas.
- Handle workshop tools and equipment properly and safely.
- Assist in maintaining accurate service and repair records.
- Report vehicle defects, safety concerns, damaged tools, or abnormal conditions to the supervising technician.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Learn and understand proper automotive repair and maintenance practices.
- Support the Service Advisor and Workshop Team when required.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor or Service Manager.
