Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician with understanding of vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, computer systems and workshop tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and service bulletins.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to test drive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluids top-ups and tyre rotations.
• Repair and replace components like brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions and electrical systems.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality checks for safety and performance.
• Document all work, parts used and time spent with accurate service records.
• Follow health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Communicate with customers regarding issues, options and costs.
• Keep up to date with latest automotive technologies through training.
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and proper tool storage.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team at our Ara Damansara, Selangor facility. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. As an Automotive Technician, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every vehicle that leaves our service centre is in perfect working condition. Key responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using specialised diagnostic equipment and tools
• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups and tyre rotations
• Repair and replace components such as brakes, suspension systems, engines, transmissions and electrical systems
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality checks to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards
• Document all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job, maintaining accurate service records
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures within the workshop environment
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair options and costs
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure proper storage of tools and equipment

What we’re looking for
