Job summary

DH Powerrich Sdn. Bhd. in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan seeks a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Internship to gain practical experience within a dynamic trades and services organisation. The role is full-time and based at our Seremban office.

You will assist with AP/AR, bank reconciliations, accounting systems, and finance reporting under supervision. Ideal candidates are pursuing an Accounting or Finance degree or diploma with strong Excel skills and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and payment verification.
• Support bank statement reconciliation and maintenance of financial records.
• Maintain and update financial databases and accounting systems.
• Perform data entry and document filing for financial transactions and records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements under supervision.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform general administrative duties to support the finance and accounting team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join DH Powerrich Sdn. Bhd. as an Internship (Finance & Accounting) in our Seremban, Negeri Sembilan office. This is a full-time internship position designed to provide practical experience in finance and accounting operations within a dynamic trades and services organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment verification
• Support the preparation and reconciliation of bank statements and financial records
• Help maintain and update financial databases and accounting systems
• Perform data entry and document filing for financial transactions and records
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements under supervision
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information and clarify discrepancies
• Perform general administrative duties to support the finance and accounting team

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or diploma programme in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software or enterprise systems
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational abilities and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take on new challenges

• Prior experience with accounting functions or finance-related internships is advantageous but not essential
