Job summary

NEXEA Venture Capital & Angel Investment Network is seeking a motivated Intern to support the Entrepreneurs Programme in Malaysia. You will gain hands-on experience in programme coordination, event planning, client engagement, and creative content creation while learning from passionate professionals and inspiring entrepreneurs.

As part of the team, you’ll assist in operations, logistics, vendor communications, and the development of event proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in programme coordination and event planning is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with clients and vendors effectively.
• Creative content creation for marketing assets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations and management of the Entrepreneurs Programme, helping to keep everything running smoothly.
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and following up on various aspects of the programme including client communications and payment tracking.
• Research and manage logistics for events, including sourcing venues, catering, guest speakers, and handling payment transactions.
• Help communicate with external parties such as vendors, sponsors, and more.
• Assist in the preparation of event proposals and presentation decks, helping shape the professional look and feel of our programme.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for the website—such as articles, newsletters, and feature pieces.
• Jump in on ad-hoc tasks to support the team whenever needed—you’ll never run out of learning opportunities!
