Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Studies, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field.
• Preferably internship duration of 3 months and above.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 or above.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, cost controlling, and business performance management.
• Proficient in Excel with data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Internship for Cost Analyst

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support the preparation, maintenance, and consolidation of TCR (Total Cost Reporting) templates and related costing reports.
• Assist in monthly financial closing activities and forecasting (FC) processes by gathering, validating, and analyzing relevant financial and operational data.
• Perform cost calculations, variance analysis, and data verification to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reports.
• Analyze manufacturing performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), UPH (Units Per Hour), Yield, and NLoP (Net Loss of Production) to support cost optimization initiatives.
• Consolidate and prepare cost reporting templates, dashboards, and business performance summaries for management review.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, and Business stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Business Studies, Business Analytics, Economics, or any related field.
• Preferably internship duration of 3 months and above.
• Minimum CGPA 0f 3.00 or above.
• Strong interest in financial analysis, cost controlling, manufacturing finance, and business performance management.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting functions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial and operational data.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
