Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia invites an intern to support system development by building centralized dashboards and integrating data from multiple sources. You will design, implement, test, and enhance software modules using Python and related technologies, and assist with data extraction, transformation, and integration tasks.

You will collaborate with business users and project stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Internship duration preferably 3 months or longer.
• Minimum CGPA 3.0 or above.
• Strong understanding of OOP, algorithms and software fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Bash, HTML, CSS, TypeScript.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support the development and enhancement of centralized dashboards by integrating data from multiple business and Self Managing Team (SMT) sources.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software modules, scripts, and applications using Python and other relevant programming technologies.
• Assist in database design, data extraction, transformation, and integration activities to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces, web-based tools, and system functionalities that improve operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and performance optimization of developed applications and systems.
• Collaborate with business users, data owners, and project stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.
• Preferably internship duration of 3 months and above.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.00 and above.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms, and software development fundamentals.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Bash, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with database concepts, data structures, API integration, and system development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
